A New Journey

Hello, friends!! It's been a while, hasn't it?

After a long (and well-needed) break, I think I finally know what I want to do with my writing career as of right now. And I'm sure this will change as time goes by, but for right now, this is what I will be focusing on.

I haven't shared much about my passion for writing, I don't think. So I thought why not share it?

Ever since I was little, I have had a love for words and reading and writing. During a move, my parents found little stories my friends and I wrote from kindergarten. I feel like since I was little I knew I wanted to be a writer. And ever since I was able to understand the concept of the future and jobs, I identified myself as a writer.

It started out as wanting to an author. I wrote so many books and had done so up until about my freshman year of college. It was my passion, my future career choice. Then suddenly, I couldn't finish writing a book anymore. I couldn't stick with an idea. I had no idea why.

It wasn't until about a year ago where I considered writing devotionals as a future career choice. And I am so in love with the idea. I would still be an author, a writer, just not in the idea I had at first.

I'm moving forward and writing devotional content that not only can I share, but that I can and many others can learn from. I finally know what I want to do and I feel like God is sending me in the right direction.

I am so excited for this journey that awaits me. And I'm equally as excited for this journey we can all go on together. :)
